Good app call by +Eileen Rivera on Stick It. This resolves the issues of watching video and not being able to see notifications behind the video playback. It is $1.49 in the market and worth every penny!

I got this in my inbox this morning. If you use Dropbox (and who doesn't? Seriously if you don't let me know so that I can the free storage for referring you) then you will want to try this out.

Even though the holidays have passed, we're really stoked to give you one more present -- a new experimental release! Under the wrapping you'll find a bunch of new toys, including a brand new Camera Upload feature. Here the new stuff:

• Automatically uploads photos and videos in the background using Wi-Fi or a data plan
• 500MB of free space on first photo uploaded automatically
• Upload files of any size (no more 180 MB limit!)
• Support for resuming file uploads when there are network issues
• Various performance improvements & bug fixes

During this beta period, we are also offering additional free space to test automatic uploading of photos and videos. For every 500MB of photos and videos automatically uploaded, you'll receive another 500MB space bonus, up to 5GB total (including the initial 500MB space).

Lite Flow Lite - If you have a LED light on your phone you may want to try downloading the Light Flow Lite app by Rage Consulting Limited. The app lets you setup colors for apps that are installed on your phone.  Now that I have it installed I know that a red solid LED is a Gmail message. A fast flashing yellow light is a work email. When the phone is fully charged I get a light blue light.  Very convenient when you have your phone locked and the screen off. I didn't have a LED for a long time and I had forgotten how nice it was to look at the light to see what was waiting for me. If I know I am waiting for a text message I would look for the color of light that corresponds to the app. The full version gives you the ability to add more types of apps.  I bought the full version so that my Galaxy Nexus can display a light when a Google Voice text message comes in. Since I don't use regular texting that was the only way I could see them through Light Flow.  The full app is $1.99. I bulked a little bit wondering if it was worth paying for the extras the app gives you. I will say I have used this app and now depend on it for my notifications. Try out the free version today in the Google Market.
